Counselling & Psychotherapy

Counselling and psychotherapy are professional services that help people understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Counsellors and psychotherapists provide confidential and supportive spaces where individuals can talk openly about their challenges and work toward positive change.

What is Counselling?

Counselling is usually focused on specific issues or life challenges. These may include stress, work pressure, relationship problems, grief, or decision-making. Counselling is often short-term and helps people develop coping skills, improve emotional wellbeing, and find practical solutions to problems.

What is Psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is a deeper and often longer-term process. It helps individuals explore ongoing emotional difficulties, patterns of thinking, and past experiences that may affect their present life. Psychotherapy can help with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, or long-term emotional struggles.

Psychotherapists use different techniques to help people gain insight, heal emotionally, and develop healthier ways of thinking and behaving.

What conditions can counselling and psychotherapy help with?

Counselling and psychotherapy can help with relationship issues, anxiety and depression, panic, identity issues and processing emotions related to past trauma, abuse, grief, bereavement and loss.
